When a fire took place in a laboratory of an essential medical diagnostic provider, FDML were called in to undertake a comprehensive decontamination exercise of all the equipment, bringing it back to pre-incident condition, as quickly as possible, efficiently and effectively, with minimal disruption to the client.
The first course of action was to identify with the client those items of priority, in order to minimise any down time which would impact production. This even included providing a short term solution of decontaminating and repairing equipment that had been deemed ‘Beyond Economical Repair’, due to the long lead in times for replacements. This ensured that the client could continue to produce as an essential service provider.
Working with the client as well as working with the restraints of Covid-19, FDML provided a comprehensive decontamination service, using its mechanical and electrical expertise, to ensure that the client’s business interruption was minimalised. All FDML technicians are fully trained to the highest industry standards and are fully complaint with Health and Safety regulations.
Over a period of months, working with the client’s priorities and production requirements, FDML delivered on a high end project to the complete satisfaction of the client.
